About
John Seegers built Optician Works to teach those wanting a career as a licensed optician or non-licensed optical dispenser. After many years as an optical professional, he saw the need for a site like this and saw an opportunity to pass on his knowledge. As a hands-on, licensed optician, he wanted a site to help aspiring opticians and optical dispensers learn.
OpticianWorks.com was launched in August of 2008.
